The Beds here are A_M_A_Z_I_N_G! Dear Blue Bayou Villa, Thank you for an enjoyable experience in Barbados. Every time we come (St.Lucia Swim Team) we always want to stay here and eat all the food that Rushelle prepares for us. One of my favorite things in the world is sleeping and the beds here are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! They are so comfortable and going to sleep is not a problem. There are big soft pillows and thick sheets that keep us warm at night. They are perfect beds to snuggle into. Much Love St. Lucia Swim Team

Hello Winifred, You were so helpful in making sure I had all the information needed. It\'s always a bit stressful not knowing exactly where we were going but let me say it was exactly as advertised. The place is great and the island is beautiful. We all wish to thank you and to say Rushelle was wonderful, friendly and we did take advantage of her considerate cooking one night(yum). We are already talking about a return visit in 2 years. Your Canadian Friends Donald

We spent the week before our son\'s wedding on December 5th, in Blue Bayou which was absolutely stunning! It was truly wonderful with every effort being made to give you that home-from-home feeling. We shall recommend this villa to friends and family and hope to visit again next year. I should just like to thank Winifred for giving us this opportunity. Rose Barrett

Hi Winifred, We have just returned from our holiday this morning. Barbados certainly worked its\' magic! We had a fabulous time and feel rejuvenated, thank you for renting out your wonderful home. What a lifestyle we\'ve had, the house is just beautiful and we have enjoyed every minute of our stay. We didn\'t want for anything, we were comfortable there- Mark particularly enjoyed having the Setanta sport channel to keep up to date with his English football! Here\'s what we did: ~ Explored the island in our jeep. ~ We had 2 bbq & games evenings at Blue Bayou with our friends, sitting out on the veranda. ~ Excellent meal at Pisces. ~ Watching the sun set from Surfers Cafe at Oistins, they serve the best burgers. ~ Great pasta & pizzas at Gigi\'s - near Silver Sands. ~ Friday night at Oistins -I\'ve discovered I like dolphn & sword fish! ~ A day out up the west coast on the Silver Moon catamaran. ~ Our own \'private\' beach at crane. ~ Breakfast at Little Arches. We had a wonderful time, thank you once again. Kind regards, Janet and Mark Benyon

We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Bayou. It has a completely equipped kitchen and a large family or 3 or 4 couples could comfortably spend a few weeks or more. The furnishings, bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and the patio at the back was a lovely place to sit and relax, eat meals or have a drink. We enjoyed the bananas and coconuts from the back yard and really appreciated your tropical paradise. We would certainly come again in the future. Ann and Dave Ashberry

I must say that Blue Bayou was a wonderful place to stay. It was like a home away from home. It was very clean and the housekeeper Rushelle kept things that way. She is a wonderful person!!Oh you need to try her Roti, ummm GOOD! They are friendly neighbors and the thing I liked most was having the circuit T.V. so you can see outside the home. Wonderful neighborhood very quiet. You can\'t go wrong with Blue Bayou. This is the villa to stay at. It is close to everything you need. Not to mention the owners are great people. I give it an 11 on a scale of 1-10. Sabrina & Family

WOW...WHAT A PLACE!!! I can\'t even think where to begin. Barbados is a beautiful island inhabited by beautiful people. I was blessed enough to have been offered to stay in one of the most gorgeous homes I had ever seen. I location of the villa is ideal for visitors. It\'s not far at all from Oistins famous (and delicious) fish fry, the breathtaking Miami (Enterprise) Beach, and busy St. Lawrence Gap (restaurants, bars and clubs). The city of Bridgetown is a quick commute, and filled with glorious shopping destinations. Another plus of staying at the villa was the convenience of the airport being 15 minutes away. And the house...what a place. The house is huge with spacious bedrooms, large and numerous bathrooms, relaxing patio with the breeze flowing through your hair and master room with jacuzzi...hello jacuzzi!!! what more can you ask for! The food was absolutely scrumptious. My husband got hooked on fish cakes...if you visit barbados and stay at Blue Bayou villa, maybe you will be lucky enough to sample the tasty little morsels! The freshness of all of the local dishes was phenominal and everything melted in your mouth! One thing, rent a car and drive all over the island. My husband and I were lucky enough to be driven around to see the countryside, which was amazing. Getting out of the hotel scene and actually going and shopping into the local villages and towns is tons of fun. The views and sights you see along the way keep your fingers busy because you will try to take a picture of everything you come across. Our trip to Barbados was long overdue and greatly appreciated. Why spend money to stay in a hotel in one room, when you can spend the same amount or even less and stay in a huge house! Blue Bayou is FABULOUS! I got married on this island and I was fortunate enough to spend time with the owners, Mr. and Mrs. Harewood, and they made our wedding one of the most spectacular events of our lives. Barbados will definately hold a special place in our hearts and we plan on frequently visiting the island and staying at the Blue Bayou villa. A Lifetime of Memories... Thank You Melanie and Kevin Lowry

Our stay at Blue Bayou was perfect. The house was quite comfortable and very graciously appointed. The location is ideal. Atlantic shores is a wonderful neighborhood with Miami Beach and South Point surf spot in immediate proximity. Having spent time there I would definitely return. Thumbs up Blue Bayou.

The visit to Barbados was just fantastic. The house was beautiful, a home away from home. We were able to visit all parts of Barbados, really enjoyed Oistins Fish Fry, visited Orchid World (just beautiful), the beaches were excellent. I just wanted to let you know that on Tuesday a lot of rain fell with some strong winds and some water got into the master bathroom. Everything else was just great and the housekeeper Rushelle was very nice. Regards. Gloria and family Trinidad/ Atlanta-USA
